Just because the weather is getting colder, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be feeling hot!

We at Cinta Manis love fashion and every season comes with a new set of inspiration and trends. Fall is here and we can’t wait. Low temperatures are synonymous with hot fashion, great food and, of course, Hallowe’en and Christmas holidays! We can all agree that there’s nothing better than comfort food in fall. For inspiration this fall, we looked to two of our favorite magazines, Elle and Cosmopolitan.

Take a look at our fashion musts for fall and be inspired by daring colours, vintage styles and soft fabrics. You’ll soon want the colder days to last longer just so you can keep on looking great.

Cold outside, hot in here

Red Hot

Red is this season’s must-have color. Taking inspiration from the beautiful autumn leaves falling off the trees, the warm hues will have you feeling cosy. Whether you opt for a classic red lip or a statement coat, you can’t go wrong.

A pop of color can spice up any outfit, so don’t be afraid to go all-black with just a hint of red in the shoes, the makeup, the scarf or the jacket. Everyone will be seeing red this fall.

Bohemian Fur

Fur is fun for everyone when it’s faux, especially for the animals. This season, take inspiration from the Gatsby era and invest in a fun fur piece that you can dress up or down. Wear it with jeans and sneakers for a vintage-eclectic mix, or team up your fur with black trousers and ankle boots when you’re going more formal.

We at Cinta Manis personally love the bohemian look, and we love matching our faux fur with anything dreamy and authentic. Don’t be afraid to accessorize with a boho-chic bag from our range at Cinta Manis or a gorgeous natural-fabric clutch. This season’s boho trends are all about being carefree!

It’s official – fur isn’t only for our grandmothers or people living in the snow anymore, so make the most of the chilly days and keep warm in a fluffy, colorful jacket or poncho.

Florals

Who said florals are only for spring? There don’t actually have to be blooms outside for you to be inspired and wear them on your sleeve. Designers have found trends in their aunts’ living rooms, with some curtain and couch prints making waves this season.

Of course, it’s all stunning – thick, shapely coats covered in large roses or knitted jumpers with embroidered flowers are some of fall’s most eye-catching trends. Go ahead and get girly with flowers everywhere!

Glitter

Ever since we were little, we’ve loved glitter. There’s something about shiny things

Boots and coats are covered in glitter this autumn, with designers having found inspiration in 90’s pop icons and their shimmering stage outfits. We love this trend because it’s just so much fun.

Pair your glitter ankle boots with a short dress and stockings or some ripped jeans, and wear your glitter coat over any warm outfit – you’ll be good to go and the envy of everyone. The best part is, there are so many reasonably-priced glitter items so you don’t have to break the bank.

Plaid

Yes, it’s been done before, but doesn’t fashion always move in a circular motion? We love plaid because it reminds us of the 70’s suits, and it is also perfect for the colder temperatures because plaid coats and trousers are everywhere.

This fall, don’t be afraid to go bright with your plaid. Suits, trousers, coats, hats and even scarves are on trend in all colours of the rainbow! Speaking of hats, there’s another autumn trend you should know about. Not only do they keep your head warm and cover your hair if you’re not in the mood to brush it, they are also super stylish at the moment.

Silky Velvet

Velvet was once only used for carpets and royalty. But in 2017, we’re all royalty.

This fabric makes you feel like someone is constantly hugging you thanks to its thick, soft texture. You will be warm and feel like a queen at all times.

Jewel tones in velvet are all the range this season, so focus on mustard, royal blue and red. Velvet dresses and coats are perfect if you’re going to an autumn wedding or formal event, whereas velvet ankle boots go with just about anything. Don’t be afraid to mix and match!

If you’re able to invest in one or two key items, try and find clothes and accessories that are great quality and that won’t go out of style. Luckily, this fall’s trends are classics – red hues, velvet and faux fur will still be in style for many winters to come. Handbags are also a wise investment and a key accessory to any outfit, so why not head over to our lookbook and shop trendy, quality bags?

Stay warm, and remember that the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin - dress for yourself and nobody else this fall.

-With Sweet Love
